Designed after the Soap Box Sessions held at the Annual Conference, the Product Applications Session virtual event provides an opportunity to learn solutions to complex and challenging driver rehabilitation and automotive mobility situations.
The presentation will feature a case study, demonstrating how a product or service is used to solve a client issue.

Each Product Application Session is a stand-alone 30-minute event. To earn the contact hours, the participant must attend live for the entire 30 minutes.

Driver Rehabilitation Center of Excellence, LLC

Tammy earned her MS from the University of South Dakota (12/2000) By 2003, she developed the third hospital-based driver rehabilitation program in SD.  

During her deployment to Iraq (June 2007-June 2008) she met the Army’s Surgeon General and was recruited to create the driving rehab program at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC.  Tammy served as the subject matter expert in driver rehabilitation for Walter Reed, the National Capital Region, and the Office of the Surgeon General.  “Her expertise is critical to DoD/VHA efforts in transforming driving rehab at the national level.” – LTC Sandra Harrison-Weaver, USA.

For her work with Wounded Warriors, she received the Meritorious Service Medal; an award presented to military members who demonstrate outstanding meritorious achievement.  In 2016 she received The Ralph W. Braun Spirit of Ability Award.

In August 2016, Tammy opened her private practice, Driver Rehabilitation Center of Excellence, LLC in Chantilly VA.  Her business combines driver rehabilitation and vehicle modifications all in one shop.  She recently expanded to Fredericksburg, VA and Columbus OH.  She has a dedicated staff whose common goal is to make community mobility and driving accessible to as many as possible.
