The presentation will feature a case study, demonstrating how a product or service is used to solve a client issue.

Each Product Application Session is a stand-alone 30-minute event. To earn the contact hours, the participant must attend live for the entire 30 minutes.

Presenter Breanna Snyder, OTRL, CDRS

Description of presentation
This product application session will focus on practical considerations for the driver rehabilitation specialist when collaborating with a client and their family during the vehicle selection process. Participants will examine a case study of a young adult with a T12 spinal cord injury, to learn how low-tech adaptive equipment installed in a wheelchair accessible van led to a whole new level of independence.

Learning Objectives

1. Identify three important considerations for the vehicle selection process when recommending wheelchair accessible vehicles for clients post spinal cord injury.
2. Identify specific aspects of the Vantage Mobility Toyota Sienna NorthStar conversion which support drivers to explore the road ahead post spinal cord injury.
